Women of Steel Triathlon
On May 16 I did the Women of Steel Triathlon in American Fork. My Sister, Julie, talked me, my mom and 3 of my sisters-in-law to do it with her. Well, it turns out that Julie gets pregnant and won't be able to run. (I told her she was the only one I would be praying for an excuse for not doing it, and that was the reason.) She and her family were there to cheer us on. It was a good thing to get me motivated after Evan. I was a little slower than my one last summer, but I will blame Evan for that. Here is my fan club.
Here is me with one of my Heros, my mom. In this picture she is my hero because at the age of almost 65 she did a triathlon. She is an amazing person and is my hero in so many other ways as well. This was just something else to add to my list. Way to go mom.

So, how do you feel about half marathons? Wanna come up and run one with me? I'm doing one in Tacoma on August 1st and then another with Ashleigh Thornock in September. I've really missed running with you!
