We got Denny a Rip stick for his "half birthday" The first days we had it, Dallin spent HOURS outside trying to master this. After a few days, he hadn't gotten much better and I thought for sure he was going to give up because he was getting so frustrated. But, he taught me a good lesson about sticking with something, because look at him now. I love watching him and am amazed at how good he is at this.

Dallin
We were able to go to the Lehi Days Parade. It was so fun. The kids loved it. So much candy and things thrown at us. There was a Karate Float and one came up to Dallin and held up this board for him to break. He was SOOOO proud. I can't believe how big he is getting.

Cherry Hill- Day 3
The last day, Brooke and Mare orgnized the kids and they went to do some activities while we cleaned up camp. It was most helpful. Here they all are using the "Buddy System".

Cherry Hill- Day 2
Evan anxiously waiting to get into the Lazy River.
Dallin with goggle eyes and cheese ball teeth.
The "Gathering Circle"
We always set up a circle of chairs to always meet at and eat.
David's ankle. This picture really doesn't capture really how bruised and swollen it was. It was pretty gross.

Bleeding Heart Bush
Cute little story. I took a starter from my parent's bleeding heart bush to bring to our house. The start wilted up and dried up, so I thought it was over, but a couple of weeks later I saw a little what looked like a weed starting up, but I thought I would wait it out and see what happens. A little bleeding heart started to grow. I was so happy. Unfortunately, it didn't last long, but I'm hoping it makes another come back.

Bingham Copper Mine
Yesterday we needed to get out. We drove up to the copper mine. As you can see, we got rained on, but that didn't stop us. This picture is a tire from one of the trucks that hauls the rocks.
Wendy and the kids looking over the edge. After so much of the rain, we spent the rest of the time in the visiting center.
