Mommy's Little Helpers

What great helpers. Dallin and Kenna were helping eachother unload the dish washer. They do a great job. Dallin would hand it up to Kenna and she would put it away. Evan just sat there and tried to be cute, he doesn't have to try too hard. Now that he can crawl, he is into everything...of course. I can't unload the dishwasher without his help and what great help it is. Usually I try and do it when he is in his high chair, or sleeping. It just works out better that way.

Evan is finally getting closer to walking. We pulled this fire truck out a couple of weeks ago and he didn't even attempt to walk with it. Now he is a regular pro. What a cutie.

Water fun

We had a couple of days where it was just beautiful and since the sun was shining and it was semi-warm, the kids wanted to play in the water. Kenna and Dallin, along with some of their neighbor friends, got their swimming suits on and played in the sprinklers. And of course when you are running through the sprinklers, you need goggles on...right? Kenna modeling her new swimming suit and goggles. Paxton, Dallin and Hannah. These friends live right next door and have become quick friends. We love the street we live on and all the amazing neighbors we now have. Dallin will look out his window and wait for anyone to be out there. If he sees a kid, any kid, he comes and tells me that his friends are outside. I ask him which ones and he pauses then says...."A friend". Doesn't matter who they are, but if they will play with him, they have to be a friend.
I told Denny that is was still too cold for me to be doing stuff like that and then he kindly reminded me that I'm not 5 and 3 either...so true.

House Pictures

I have had some request to post some pictures of our new house. Since it's physically impossible to have my whole house clean at one time, I will have to do this in parts. I will try and eventually get our whole house on here, more to have for me, but anyone is welcomed to look. Remember we have only been in the house for a short while, so we are slowly working out the decorating thing. This is the kids bathroom

The Aquarium....Again.

We bought an annual pass to the Aquarium, and we have already gotten our moneys worth. We went again and this time we brought Aunt Alesha and Grans.

Happy Easter 2010

All dressed up in their new Church clothes. Getting ready to color eggs. Had to make sure none of the kids ate the little tablets thinking they were candy or anything (not like that's happened before...right Mare???)All ready for the Easter Bunny to hide them.Easter Morning. They were so excited to find their baskets and all the treats...including chocolate Easter Bunnies, Kenna's favorite food by the way. The Easter Bunny has brought a new movie in the past, and I guess Dallin took note, because he thought was a given that the Easter Bunny always brought. We thought it would be a fun tradition so will continue to ask the Easter Bunny to do that a long with the treats. Evan missed out on the Chocolate, but was sure enjoying his fruit snacks.

April Fools Day

This is what we woke up to on April 1st. I couldn't believe how much snow there was.The kids checking out all of the snow.Of course they had to get all of their snow gear on and go out at least one more time this season. Dallin got a new sled and hasn't been able to use it that much, so he was very excited. He was out there for a good hour, most the time by himself. Evan had to get all geared up to, even though Evan and I only last about 10-15 minutes. It was cold. I love this picture and how cute his smile and face is.Doesn't have anything to do with snow, but Evan can now crawl up and down the stairs. He loves to explore the house. I'll run upstairs sometimes, in my bathroom to get ready, and I can hear him coming up the stairs. When he comes around the corner and sees me, he gets so excited, smiles really big and kicks the crawling into turbo speed to get to me. So cute.
