Boise, Idaho Trip

This last weekend we were able to drive up to Boise to visit Denny's brother Jason and his family. We have been looking forward to this for awhile and we had a blast. We drove up on Thursday night, so we didn't get there until around midnight. The next day we went up the canyon to build a fire, roast hotdogs and make smores. This is Evan on the way with the wind in his face. My little cheese ball. Along the way there was this sign for "Macks Creek". We got all of the boys, since they will carry on the Mack name.
Denny and our boys.
Evan was in Heaven.....dirt EVERYWHERE. Here is a live shot of him doing what he does best, throwing it.
This is the shot when I asked for his smile. You never know what to expect.
Evan helping gather fire wood.
Connor and Dallin doing their part.
Uncle Jason, Dallin and Connor rolling the bigger log.
Tayley and Kenna posing around the campfire. I'm not sure why Dallin is sad in the background.
Evan enjoying a camp-fire cooked hot dog. When they were putting out the fire, there was a lot of steam. Some of the kids and Denny were making scary noises. When they did it again, this was Kenna and Evan trying to be scary.
The next day, we went to a couple of places and Brooke took our pictures. This is Evan once again, throwing things. If you look closely, you can see the rocks that he was throwing.
We had so much fun and Dallin even said he wanted to live in Idaho at one time. I'm sure he liked Idaho, but I think it was more of the company. Thanks Jason and Brooke for letting us come play.

Cornbelly's

The beginning of this month we all went to Cornbelly's. We had planned a trip up to Idaho for later in the month and it happened to be on Dallin's first field trip. He was such a good sport about missing it, that I thought we could go as a family. We had never been before and we had a lot of fun. Of course, we started off in the princess section. Kenna was loving the fact that you could dress up in the dresses there. Look at what a cheese ball Evan has become. They sure are cute.
Kenna posing with the pumpkin princess whose name just happens to be McKenna.
Denny wasn't sure about a picture of his boys on top of a glittery horse, but it was better than them getting dressed up.
Getting ready for the tractor ride. Other side of the cart.
Evan wanted a ride but Denny couldn't steer unless Evan was on his shoulders. I thought this was a cute picture on the tractor with the corn fields in the background.

I loved this picture because it was a real smile and not his cheesy grin. I can't believe what a little boy he has turned into.
Denny and the kids jumping on the big pillow.
When they told everyone to get off to get ready for the next group, Evan took off and was loving having the whole thing to himself. I know, I know I should have grabbed him and got him off, but he just looked so cute I had to get a picture first.
The "Cow" rides. The had pig races and called up a volunteer to represent each pig. Dallin's pig was named David Letterham and he won the race. Dallin got a cute pig nose to take home. He was pretty excited.
Playing in the "Corn Pit"

Evan wasn't as big of a fan being buried in it.
Do you love how Dallin is trying to act sad.
We were there for a couple of hours and in ran into Evan's nap. While we were in the corn maze, he had had it and gave in. We had a lot of fun and I'm glad we were able to go all together as a family.
