Women of Steel Triathlon
On May 16 I did the Women of Steel Triathlon in American Fork. My Sister, Julie, talked me, my mom and 3 of my sisters-in-law to do it with her. Well, it turns out that Julie gets pregnant and won't be able to run. (I told her she was the only one I would be praying for an excuse for not doing it, and that was the reason.) She and her family were there to cheer us on. It was a good thing to get me motivated after Evan. I was a little slower than my one last summer, but I will blame Evan for that. Here is my fan club.
Here is me with one of my Heros, my mom. In this picture she is my hero because at the age of almost 65 she did a triathlon. She is an amazing person and is my hero in so many other ways as well. This was just something else to add to my list. Way to go mom.
Happy Mothers Day
For mothers day, Denny had the kids paint a pot for me and my mother. He put some mini rose bushes inside them. They were so excited to give them to us.
Look how hard Dallin is concentrating in this picture. What a little artist.
The Ribbon Cutting
On April 1, 2009 Denny opened doors to Mack Chiropractic. What an exciting day. On April 28 we had the official ribbon cutting. I wasn't able to get a picture of the actual cutting (with these huge scissors and everything) because I was standing by Denny, but this was right after. We had the ribbon cutting and then a open house for a couple of hours after. We had a really good turn out and it was a very exciting day. I still need to go and get some pictures of the office now that it is all done, but here are some previews.
After the ribbon cutting, we all came inside and Denny just gave a brief tour to everyone there and explained the different rooms and what they are used for.
After that, people just hung out and enjoyed the refreshments and the free massages.
Here are two of the youngest clients, Dallin and Kenna, getting in on the free massages.
It was such an exciting day for all of us. I am such a proud wife and it was fun to see Denny in this role and to be in this position, especially being able to know everything he has done to get to where he is now. It was hard to imagine this day on those countless nights back in Davenport where we would go weeks on end without seeing Denny because of test and studying and clinic. He is an amazing man and has worked hard to get where he is. Congratulations Dr Mack.
Random cute pictures
These are my other cute kids. I have noticed I have posted a lot of Evan, but not to forget my other two precious children. Dallin and Kenna have been awesome with their new brother and I am really proud of them. They are big helpers and couldn't love him more.
Kenna is 110% girl. Everything is all about princesses, dresses, frills and more. The other day she was mad because she wanted to to wear a dress. I finally said, "Kenna, why won't you just wear these pants." She looked at me with the saddest face and said, well almost cried, "but I can't twirl". Oh the drama.
Kite Flying
I bought the kids kites that they earned. We walked over to a park on a perfectly windy day and had a nice afternoon flying kites. I loved this first picture. I was actually leaving with Evan and Kenna and Denny was staying a little longer with Dallin. I turned around and this is what I saw. I loved the beautiful mountains, and then you can also see the kite in the sky with Dallin flying it and Denny relaxing by him. I just loved it.

Denny helping Dallin. He did really well and was even able to run and keep the kite up for a long time.
I didn't get any of Kenna flying the kite, because she didn't last too long. She came home a little earlier with me and Evan. On the way home she was in the back playing with something in her hands. It wasn't until we got home that I realized that she had fallen asleep like this. That's right, she was completely out.
SNOW???
On April 16 this is what we woke up to. That is the backyard and the only reason I took pictures is because my parents were in California and I didn't think they would believe how much snow we really got. This was pretty much all melted that afternoon and complete gone the next day when they got home. Crazy.
Evan two months old
This is the beginning of April when Evan was 2 months old. Isn't he the cutest thing you ever saw. I can't say it enough how happy he is and what a good baby he is.
Evan's Blessing
On March 29, 2009 Evan was blessed by Denny. It was such a special day and he is such a special little boy. He is seriously the happiest baby and we love having him in our home.
