New Friends
Have I mentioned how we LOVE our new house and neighborhood. We have been so blessed to have such awesome neighbors and tons of little kids. Dallin and Kenna are in heaven with all of these "New Friends" all around. This was taken the other day. We were outside playing, but little by little, some friends trickled inside to watch a movie with Kenna. This is Dylan, Kenna, Kaylin and Dexter. I don't know if he was meaning to, but it looks like Dexter is giving me a bad look, probalby because I caught him watching a movie with the girls :).

Sting Rays
So, to start off, I wanted to write about my new job. I got a new job at a different Hospital. I will be in the Labor/Delivery unit and I'm so excited. I'm ready to do something new and this will cut my commute down from 50-60 minutes to about 20 mins. Also, my shift won't start until later, so Denny will be home before I have to leave and won't have to find a baby sitter. Anyway, I had to go up to Murray to hand in some documents for my new job, so I figured while we were up that way, we would stop into the aquarium. Every time we pull into the parking lot Kenna says she is going to pet the sting rays, but she never does. Well, it finally happened. She finally touched them, and then I couldn't drag her away from them.
This first video is the first time she touched them. I love that when I go over to Evan and he sees that I have the camera, he just starts saying "CHEEEEEESE" and continues for a few seconds. I love Kenna's reaction in the second video and how excited she gets in it. We have enjoyed going to the aquarium and will have it all next fall/winter so we will definately get our moneys worth.

Evan's Haircut
This was Evan's first official haircut. I thought this was a cute "BEFORE" picture.
I thought this was a funny pictures with his reaction as the clippers come toward his head. If you are wondering how we kept him still, it is with a lot of patience from Denny and 2 packages of Fruit snacks.
Evan's Mess
Lately Evan has wanted to use spoons and forks and even sometimes gets mad when you try and give him bites. They were eating breakfast and Kenna left her bowl on the counter, what we thought was out of reach. Denny and I were upstairs and Dallin comes and says, "come look at what Evan did" That can never be good. This is what we found. I don't know how he got the bowl, but he did and as you can see isn't the best shot with the spoon yet. Silly boy.

Evan-15 Months
I can't believe my baby is getting so old. He started officially walking on May 1st, so barely made it under the 15 month mark. He was definately my slowest walker (Dallin was walking by 10 months and Kenna right around a year), but by far is my best talker. He amazes me with all of the words he knows. I made a list, more for my records of all the little words he knows. It grows everyday, and I'm sure there are a lot that I missed.
-Thank you -Mommy -Daddy -Kenna (pronounced with a "N" on the front) -Doggie(which can sound a lot like Daddy at times) -fishy -plane (doesn't usually have the "P" on the front) -hot -please -cracker -kitty -light -ball -bath -hi -hello (which is usually sounds like "lo" and it's when he has a phone to his ear) -Bye -night, night -no -down -cinderella (pronounced "rella") -banana -stinky -truck -tickle tickle tickle -cheese -bubble -spoon.
One of my favorites that he says is "Thank you" It sounds more like "Tane to", but he is good to say it everytime you give him something, or if someone comments on how cute he is, I'll ask him what do you say and he will respond to that as well. For some reason, there are a few words that sound nothing like the real ones, but we have figured out what he is trying to say. When he says "Moe" it means drink and "dia" is food and "yellow" is a treat. I'll post a video of him actually walking soon. He is so fun and has quite the personality. He loves to play peek-a-boo and won't stop saying "hi" to people while we are in church, even when he should be quiet.

Pizza Night
So, one night we made home-made pizza. We make this a lot at home, but this time I let Dallin and Kenna make their own individual pizzas and put what ever they wanted on them. I doubled the dough and we ended up with a lot of pizza.
Dallin was very proud of his pizza. I gave Evan a slice of his and he was upset, fully expecting that he was going to eat the entire thing. Silly boy. When he was done, he made sure he wrapped up his leftovers and put in the fridge for the next days lunch.
