Our Little Dancer
Kenna had her little dance performance and she did great. She has really liked dancing. I think she prefers to do her own little thing and freestyle. She loved the fact we did her hair fancy and she actually got to wear make-up for the performance. What a pretty girl.
Dallin striking a pose. He was such a good supporter that night.

Happy Birthday Dallin!!!
Happy 6th Birthday to my little man. I can't believe he is already this old. He is such the cutest little boy. He is so sweet and always worried about everyone else. He loves to tell me how much he loves me. He is such a sweet brother to Kenna and Evan. He loves Kindergarten and is such a good reader. He loves to play in the snow or doing anything outside. He is always trying to do the right thing and is a great helper around the house. We love you Dallin....Happy Birthday.
For Dallin's birthday we headed up to the "The Incredible Pizza Company" They had a buffet and I would say don't go for the food. It was okay, but the kids loved it. They have a lot of arcade games and bowling and bumper cars. Here is Dallin bowling. Look at that form.

Dallin's Wrestling
Dallin started up in wrestling and has loved it. He has done really well and this was his first tournament. He ended up taking 2nd in his little bracket. He won his first match by points, pinned the second boy (pretty quickly too) and lost by a few points on his final match. He is such a handsome little boy.
Showing us his "wrestling stance". I love how Evan is looking on in this one. Dallin is a great big brother and a good example to Evan.

Christmas Sugar Cookie
We didn't make our traditional Halloween Sugar Cookies, so I got some cookie cutters and went to town. The kids loved cutting them out and baking them.
Here is a tray ready to go in the oven. Dallin and Kenna did a great job cutting them out. Evan had a lot of fun and sure enjoyed it (even though he ate more of the dough then he got on the pan). If you notice the bottom left hand corner, that would be Evan's contribution to this tray. So cute.

It's beginnning to look a lot like Christmas
Setting up the tree. You can see who put most of the ornaments on since the bottom half is fuller and they are all clumped together.
Evan showing off "the Kids" nativity. We have this one set up and they can play with it all they want, that way they will hopefully leave my nativity alone.

Halloween 2010
Happy Halloween. We had a lot of fun this year, despite the rainy conditions. We got dressed up little early, just because it was fun to go around to all of our neighbors who have never seen this side of Denny and catch them a little off guard (this is not his first time dressing up like this, but we like it because of how much of a contrast it is) He talked me into dressing up with him, and there was a last minute costume change for Evan so he could join the family. We thought this picture was funny with the Goth family, transfomer, and then bright, sparkly Cinderella in the front, who would never consider being anything but a Princess.
Dallin has been so excited to wear this costume. He had a little parade at his school and loved being able to wear his costume to school. Evan didn't care what he looked like, he just loved this concept of "Trick or Treating" and had been practicing with his pumpkin for a couple of weeks.
Sweet little Kenna. LOVED the idea and getting her hair done special and being able to wear Make-up, what a girl she is. Funny story. Dallin kept taking off his mask when we went to go visit people so they would know who he was. When we got to Denny's mom's house, Kenna walked in and took off her crown, then looked at Denny's mom and said "Grans, it's me....Kenna!" Good thing she clarified that. What a beautiful girl she is. Made a perfect Princess.
Our little Gothic Family....aren't we precious. I think Denny was trying to make a scary face or something.
We were able to meet up with some of our cousins and they did a little trick or treating around my parents neighborhood. Isaac the bat...not batman, Kenna-Cinderella, Sleeping flying monkey-Hayes on the couch. Evan-?, Julianne-the peacock. Lydia-50's girl, Sayer-Elfaba, Dallin-transformer and Ava-as Nessa Rose. They had so much fun being together.
Here is Evan before the transformation....he is such the cute boy and such a fun age.
And the other tail end of it, trying to rinse it off. We got most of it off, but the hair dye stayed on his scalp for a few more days and look really strange.

Hope everyone had a great day and emjoyed it as much as we did.
