Temple Square

On the 17th of December we went to Temple Square to see the lights. It was really cold, but we bundled up and it wasn't too bad.We parked the car in Sandy and rode Trax up the rest of the way to Salt Lake. As much as he loved the lights, I think this was Dallin's favorite part of the night. He loved riding the "train" and that's all he asked about while we were at Temple Square is if we were going back on the train. We had a lot of fun and hopefully can make it a tradition for the Holidays.

Merry Christmas

Posing by the Christmas tree. I love these pictures and have to say these are some of the cutest kids. We had a great Christmas and it was fun to be around family and friends again. Here is Kenna on Christmas morning with her gift from Santa. She got a doll house and princesses from Santa. She loves them. Everything is all about Princesses now a days. She would prefer to wear a dress everyday if she could and calls it her prettys. She loves to dance and twirl and sing like all of the princesses. She loves all the girly stuff, but sure makes Denny proud when she can rattle off all of the super heroes as well. Dallin got a Hot Wheels ciry from Santa and loves it. He loves cars and trains and lately has loved doing any kind of puzzle.

Happy Birthday Dallin

Dallin turned 4 years old on December 7th. As a family, just the 4 of us, went to Chuck E. Cheese. Dallin and Kenna loved it. We got a ton of tokens and they were going crazy.Dallin wanted an alligator cake for his birthday. This is what we came up with. He seemed pretty happy with it. We had a lot of his cousins and friends over for cake and ice cream. He loves birthdays and the candles. He was so excited that it was his turn to blow out the candles. I still can't believe that Dallin is 4 years old. What a fun age. He loves to ask questions and he loves to tell us stories that he makes up. His favorite color is green and favorite food is macaroni and cheese. He is such a tender hearted little boy that loves to give hugs and kisses. He is sooo excited to have a baby brother and I know he will be a great help. I love you Dallin and am so grateful you are a part of my life. Happy Birthday Buddy!!!

Happy Halloween

Here is our dear little puppy Kenna and Spiderman. I was pretty excited to be Spiderman and especially excited for the red hair and face paint. Denny is the artist of the family, but with him in Illinois over Halloween, I did my best to make him proud.Cousins came over to go Trick-or-Treating with us. This is Tinkerbell Lydia, Pumpkin Julianne, Spiderman Dallin, Pirate Isaac and Puppy Kenna. Grans and Grandad (Denny's Parents) and Aunt Alesha came trick-or-treating over to our house and brought the candy with them.
The kids loved Halloween and especially the trick-or-treating part. I think Dallin was wondering why I didn't tell him about these magic words before. Kenna would go to door to door, but instead of putting the candy in her bucket she would hold on to it. Once we got to the next house and she realized she was getting more, she would then hand me the one from the last house and hold on to the new piece of candy until she was sure more was coming. Silly girl.

Introducing Dr. Denny Mack DC

As promised, here are some more pictures from Denny's Graduation. On Oct 24, 2008, Denny graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic with his Doctorate Degree. It was such a special day for all of us. We would have loved to have our kids there, but I know I wouldn't have been able to sit through the entire graduation, so it was nice to just be there for Denny and enjoy our time together.
Dr. Mack with is very proud wife. It was so neat to see him in this position knowing all the hard work that went behind it and experiencing this last 3 1/2 years with him.
Some of dear friends. L to R- Denny and Wendy, Molly and Brian, Cortney and Tom, Trevor and Katie, Marianne and David.
The 3 Stooges. It's hard to get a serious picture of all of these three.
Me and Denny before the Graduation.
This was all of the LDS guys that graduated together. They sure kept eachother going.
This was at the banquet they had for all of the graduates and guest that night before. It was a nice dinner and fun to be out and just spend time with Denny.
Denny and me ready for our night out on the town. This was definately a time to celebrate.

Happy Fall

We just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Fall time, which happens to be my favorite. The kids enjoyed playing in the leaves. I thought this was a cute picture of Dallin. It looks like he is up to something and has a funny story to share. What a cute little boy.

Eary Snow Fall

On October 12, we awoke to snow, and a lot of it. Dallin couldn't get his snow stuff on quick enough to get out there. He had been wanting this all summerOf course Kenna was close to follow. Here you could see how much was actually on the ground. It was kind of crazy and I don't remember seeing this much snow in the middle of October.Dallin has been dreaming of building a snow man, so Denny joined the kids and this is what they came up with. Dallin was proud of his snow man and a little disappointed when later that afternoon it tipped over because it had melted. We went over the song "once there was a snowman" and explained that that is just what happens.
